The analytics startup says that consumers are spending 127 minutes per day in mobile apps, up 35% from 94 minutes a day in the same time last year. This means that the U.S consumers are spending nearly two times more time in mobile apps than the web.
I agree that more people are spending time on there phones for the web than the internet. Ever since I'v had internet on my phone, I haven't been using my computer as much as I did. I don't see anything wrong with using your phone for the web. But I do use my computer for reports and other things dealing with school. I think it is kinda hard to believe.
i agree people are spending too much time on internet perid because they are not using them for research or anythinh educated but they are using it to socialize insstrad
I find it interesting that people are using mobile phones more and more everyday. The TV has been around for forever and it's rates are still higher. Even though the mobile rates is climbing it has a chance to beat TV, which i think won't happen.
People are spending more time on apps now than watching TV. But the television people are just mad because people like playing apps more than watching TV.
I find it interesting that people would be on the mobile apps instead of watching television but there trying some new because the television been around for centuries but there's Alot of educating stuff on the internet than the television.
I think it is a good thing that people are on their phone more than they are watching television. The tv have had it's chance it was one of the greatest inventions but when something else comes along that can cause you to be less bored and have something else to do then of course everyone is going to jump on it and start to use it more and more everyday. Sometimes when you are just watching tv it gets bored after a while because they do not be anything good on to watch and they play some of the same things over and over. However, on your cellular device they are all different kinds of apps you can download and play that can keep you from being bored and it can just keep you occupied.
I don't find it too amazing that mobile phones are starting to take over TV time. Through great advances in technology phones are becoming the new trend. People today are always looking for the next best thing. I guess Television isn't that next best thing anymore.
