I think the Blogging FAQ portion of the presentation was the most helpful to me. I think for my blog I will follow the suggestions under the "How Do I Increase My Stats?" part. Out of the two example blogs I like the first example the best. I don't really have a use for the blog, but it drew my attention more because it was colorful and it looked interesting. The other blog just looked very boring.
I like example 1 better it has more photos, which helps you visualize what the blogger is talking about. The what makes a good blog and how do I decide a topic slides I found useful. They give you ideas on how to make your blog better and what to blog about.
I think the slide "What makes a good blog?" is helpful. It tells you things that can improve your blog. Personally, I liked example 1 better. More pictures and colors capture the eye and make it seem more interesting than a boring, plain, and dull one. http://kellendunklin.blogspot.com/

I think I can learn something from the Blogging FAQ because it explain what you can do to other people blogs and how to add your blogs to virtual portfolio and also how to increase your stats.
