Using "Smiley" "Winky" "Sad" "Teardrops" and "Slanted" faces add emotions to the conversation. Before using words such as "Lol" "Lmbo" and "Smh" were looked at as literary errors, but today their ignored.
ReplyDeleteThis article is talking about how texting have advanced over the years. At first it was just young teens doing it , then it spread globally! Now everyone is texting. it's faster to just shoot someone what you have to say then calling them and or going to them. many people can't talk on their phones in their workplace so they shoot someone a text message. It's easy, fast, fun and all that! Now the smartphones has different ways to text. you can add emojis, smileys, pictures, videos, links etc. Texting has tremendously changed over the years and it an easy thing to do.

On the cell phone, you can also use hashtags or abbreviate. Using this, is just a quicker way to abbreviate some of your words. Twitter is also another way to communicate. Twitter is just a website to look and see what your friends are doing or celebrities. You can also email. Email is another way for fast communication.

ReplyDeleteTexting is an important way to communicate for some. No matter where you are you can always keep in touch (as lomg as you have service or course). In Japan some actually wrote novels on their phone. Even hashtags have their own way of adding to a text. Some belive texting is another form of speech. Texting can also effect the way we spell. I love texting and think I think it is a great way to keep in touch with family and friends.

Texting has changed over the years with using shorter words and it helps talking to someone without going to their house/talking to family who lives far away and also instead of calling to say something short you just text them. I think texting helps alot.
