  3. No I was not aware of the privacy issues on Twitter because I do not use it. No, I do not plan on installing the "Do Not Track" in Firefox because I have no interest in using Twitter. If I did use Twitter I would consider it because I do not want to be tracked but I would look further into it. If I were to use Twitter and I were to look into the new "feature" I would look into who is the publisher, the software, etc. I would not blindly download some "privacy feature" from a social website. That's just a bad time waiting to happen.

  23. I do have a Twitter, but I was not aware of the privacy issues. I do not plan on installing the "Do Not Track" option, because I don't have anything on my account that I don't want my followers to see. If I didn't think it was okay, I wouldn't have put it on my account, much less make my Twitter an "open" account.

  24. Well I myself do not yet have a Twitter account and I don't plan on obtaining one as for the "DO NOT TRACK" installment I would not install it until I looked into it and seen if it was just an easy way for hackers to get my personal information however, if I seen it would keep my personal information safe then yes I would install it.

  28. No, I was not aware of the privacy issues in using Twitter. I do not plan on installing the "Do Not Track" feature onto my account. There is nothing on my account that is too personal for anyone to know. If you do not want someone you don't know to see it, then don't put it on the internet.

  29. I had no idea because i don't have a twitter, i only have a Facebook because I don't think I would be interested in twitter.

  43. Yes, I was aware of twitter being able to track were you are when you post. This is another reason why I do not have a Twitter account. I don't think that i ever will make one. But I think this feature makes it more safe for people to use Twitter.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I did not know of these privacy problems with Facebook or Twitter, probably because i do knot have a Facebook or Twitter account. But it was a good idea for the twitter company to issue the "Do Not Track" function in its user options to help keep users safe.

  45. I did not know about twitter's privacy problems. I wouldn't have guessed they would be nosy and try impose in everyone's business or tweets.I bet the twitter head quarter's wouldn't be very happy if the millions of tweeter's tracked or followed them, to try and see what there doing. Yes I would install the "Do Not Track" feature on my twitter, That's just wrong trying to track people and intervene in privacy.

  46. According to Mozilla, Firefox counts with over 450 million users around the world. Denied "there is this idea that market share alone will make you have more vulnerabilities. According to Mozilla's privacy policy, these statistics are stored only in Support for (Do Not Track) and i think it a good things. Also help keep the users safe on their account.

  54. I knew about the privacy problems these social networking sites have, I use the internet avidly so I have had time to discover these things. I in fact have a multiple social networking accounts including twitter and I plan to not use this add-on to Firefox. My reasons are simple, I have nothing to hide and no post I make will be private information, everything I say on the internet is there for people to read unless it is a private IM or Email.

  55. No, I was not aware of the privacy problem on Twitter. Yes, I do plan on installing the new add on to protect my privacy, even though I do not use Monzilla because i think Chrome is better amd faster, but if it conserns the risk of my privacy i will start using Monzilla.

  57. I did not know Twitter had a privacy problem. I think it is a good think Twitter has the "Do Not Track" setting and I plan on using it. I think that people don't need to know where I am every time I tweet something.

  58. Privacy is a sensitive subject to me. My family's bank account has gotten hacked into before and it was scary because you assume when you are on your PC that your in total privacy, all chat and messages sent between you and your friends and family you are in total seclusion. However sometimes some idiot comes along and just for the fun of it decides to mess up your account or look at your private emails. Thats why privacy should be enforced by, in this case Facebook however it is also your responsibility to: change passwords, dont go onto unsafe sites, research every site before you go onto it, and never accept someones request that you don't even know. With that said I support the idea behind "Do Not Track" option I enjoy how you have the freedom of having the option to do this and you're not forced into turning the option on. All in all a good idea.

  59. I DONT because I don't have a twitter page because it is not for every body

    ReplyDelete
  60. I think it is very smart that twitter is doing the "Do Not Track" for one it gives the users a feeling of safeiness and confidence that people wont outside from friends and tags not beable to find out personal information about you and use it against you. And its safe for twitter so that they can't get sued.

  61. I was aware that that there were some privacy issues with Facebook but I didn't realize that they could track us the way that they are. However, I have never heard of Twitter having very many privacy issues. Twitter is more open than Facebook anyway. I will be installing the "Do Not Track" Feature because it is none of their business where I am at or what I am doing.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I think Facebook and Twitter have to many issues about their privacy stuff. If I had a twitter I would so install the do not track option. People need to learn to mind their own business and keep to their friends and family and not worry about everybody else because this is what causes the issues for us to use the do not track option. People need to quit being so nosey

    ReplyDelete
  63. I dont have a twitter so I dont use this but, if I created one I would use it to protect my safety
