I think it is important for these stores to be out there.I think there is a definite path and people would might need a 3d printer you never know what you need to use it for you might have to use it for a paper you have to do in 3D or some anything you might need one so i think people should have these stores.
I'm very astonished by the 3D printer a very optimistic creation. I believe every one should get more involved in this idea. I believe there should be more stores out there like this one.

I think that this would be awesome to use! I remember hearing about these a while back. The designers that worked on Transformers (and it's sequels) used these to make 3D mini replicas or the autobots so that they could work with them by hand instead of using the giant machines (they actually built for them) or computer programs to figure out how they wanted the auto-mechanical characters to move! It was really cool. It took about a day to make Bumblebee from the printer and it was awesome. They out a camera next to where the machine was making it to show it actually printing out a 3D autobot.

It sounds crazy to me that something, like a printer, could do something so difficult. I can't really wrap my mind around the fact that this 3D printer could print out a kidney, or toys. That's ridiculous, if you ask me. How could that work? Yes, I know that technology is getting more and more advanced everyday, but I still cannot say that i would invest in this product.

3D printers are very expensive and are not sold in Alabama. The first store to sell one was in new York by Diego Porqueras for 600$. They are called Bukobots.

There just isn't really much reason for the average person to have one except for the fact of wasting money on some cool toy. Even though the price is not that bad right now, I highly doubt that 3D printer stores will catch of any time soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good idea because there isn't anything that you can put actual real things on a printer and print them off. It's crazy how it could print out kidneys from your cells! Even though it's $600, I think it could be very useful to a lot of people.
ReplyDeletei think this 3D printer is a very good idea. These printers will sell mostly as marketing tools. The cheapest one sells for around $600! Some experiments have began with the Honors class at the UA to bring their 3D creations to life! These 3D printers will allow you to printer anything you want!
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that a 3D printer can print out organs of humans. That it can save someones life. I find that amazing and hope ever hospital gets one.
ReplyDeleteI think 3D printers are a great idea. It's a great franchising and marketing opportunity. Advertising videos and pictures of it would probably catch the attention of anyone, nerd or not, and probably spark interest to at least try it, if not buy it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds crazy to me that something, like a printer, could do something so difficult. I can't really wrap my mind around the fact that this 3D printer could print out a kidney, or toys. That's ridiculous, if you ask me. How could that work? Yes, I know that technology is getting more and more advanced everyday, but I still cannot say that i would invest in this product.
ReplyDeleteI think that at 3D printer is really cool to have because we haven't had something like that I also think that 600$ would be a good price for it cause see I would have thought that it could of cost more than that and I mean I would think it was worth it but I wouldn't get one until I saved up and when I really needed it. As in arts and crafts or in a project I had to do.
ReplyDelete3D printers are very expensive and are not sold in Alabama. The first store to sell one was in new York by Diego Porqueras for 600$. They are called Bukobots.

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that one store sales it for more than $2,000, and the other sales it for only $600. I don't see everyone going out and getting one for their home because it is still to pricey and not practical.
